We are well aware of the trend of the client’s desire for complete service of their financial needs from their financial adviser. While Mid Atlantic provides a full array of platforms and products for the equity side of their financial requirements, there are other needs not provided by us. Our open architecture allows you to add services to your company to fulfill your client’s requirements. For example, variable annuities and variable life insurance are equities and must be offered through a registered broker-dealer. However you can fulfill your client’s other insurance needs, such as whole life, term life, disability, and long term care by making arrangements directly with the carrier of your choice. Mid Atlantic does not participate in revenue from these non-securities activities. Income from these activities goes directly to the investment professional’s company.
Many investment professionals spend considerable time preparing financial plans for their clients and may be charging hourly, per plan, or by an ongoing retainer. To us, these fees represent your personal time commitment to your clients and 100% of this revenue is credited to the financial professional.
As other non-equity solutions become available to meet your client’s needs, you can add them to your product offerings with the proper approval from Mid Atlantic.
