Fixed Income Capabilities

The fixed income availability for representatives is quite extensive and should fulfill most requirements. Through our clearing affiliation with National Financial Services, LLC as our clearing agent, we have access to Fidelity Capital Markets’ bond inventory, including their new issues of corporate bonds and preferred shares. We are also subscribers to the Bond Desk Group, an ECN composed of over 50 top rated bond underwriters and market makers of fixed income securities, as well as The Muni Center, an ECN handling municipals, corporates, treasuries, agencies, medium term notes, and certificates of deposit. We also have trading relationships with well known bond market makers such as Morgan Stanley, Spear Leeds & Kellogg, and Wells Fargo, to name a few.

Should a representative have a special requirement for a local municipal and/or have a relationship with a local bond firm, they can, with approval, acquire the bonds through that trader and clear the trade through our trading desk.

We would like to emphasize that our trading desk operates solely as an agency desk, with prices quoted to you at our cost with no mark-up. In this manner you can be assured that your clients are receiving the best prices available to Mid Atlantic, and that you, not a trader, will determine appropriate levels of mark-up for the work done.
